Follow the success of his first book, Do You Do Any Wings?, local musician and author Shane Kirk is now working on his second book, All These Little Pieces. I was commissioned by Shane and his publishing team to shoot the cover wrap for the book. Although the setup was reasonably straightforward, the execution had to match an image taken from Eric Clapton’s 1978 album Backless (see below). The final image will be used as a full-bleed wrap across the front and back cover of the book, just like the original Clapton album sleeve.
