Wow.
Despite the weather being generally made up of horizontal moisture, mud and low cloud, the church just near Metfield, Suffolk was absolutely stunning.
Beautiful hanging lights lined the aisles, wide windows let in loads of light and ornate woodwork really added bags of character. All this will make a really enjoyable shoot. On top of that the family are lovely people (they’ve even offered brekkie for me while I’m taking shots of the bride and co getting their hair, makeup and nerves sorted! Yum!)
Let’s hope the weather holds next weekend. Though from the friendliness and energy I got from the family today, bad weather will in no way dampen the spirits!

Well, here we go!
Thanks for visiting the site. You’ll see there’s quite a way to go before the site is done, but it’s getting there.
I’m currently taking enquiries for photoshoots, and have the Wedding price list online – costs for Children and Pets will follow soon.
The first official EightyOne shoot will be on the 4th April up near Halesworth. It’s a wedding for a lovely couple who have kindly asked me to capture their special day. If that’s something you’re also interested in having done, then drop me an email. I’m happy to discuss your requirements with you and come up with a photography package to suit your exact requirements.
I’m currently in the process of sourcing new equipment for my studio shoots. If you’d like to keep up to date with my activities, you can also follow me on Twitter.

New to my camera collection is this fantastic Nikon D90. Don’t worry, I’m not going to rattle of all the technical jargon at you (though if you do like that sort of thing, here’s a link)
I’ll be using this camera as my lead body (my backup currently being a D80), with both a fixed Nikon 50mm, f1.4 and a Nikon DX 18-105 lens for a bit of flexibility. My trusty SB600 flash will lighting my way for the wedding shoots, and the hunt is now on for a portable studio kit to cover that side of things.
